Binance has announced it will delist six cryptocurrencies from its spot trading platform on August 17, following its latest asset review. The affected tokens are Across Protocol (ACX), Hashflow (HFT), PIVX, Vulcan Forged (PYR), Vanar (VANRY), and Viction (VIC).
The exchange said the decision follows routine evaluations of listed assets based on factors such as development activity, liquidity, trading volume, team commitment, network security, regulatory compliance, and overall project quality. Binance periodically removes projects that no longer meet its listing standards.
Monitoring Tags Proved to Be an Early Warning#
A notable pattern emerged ahead of the delisting announcement. Every token scheduled for removal had previously received Binance's Monitoring Tag, a designation assigned to assets considered riskier or more volatile than the average listed token.
The Monitoring Tags were issued between April and July, effectively serving as an early warning for investors. Historically, projects carrying the label face a higher risk of eventual delisting if they fail to address Binance's concerns.
Mixed Market Reaction After Announcement#
The six tokens reacted differently to Binance's decision. PIVX posted the largest decline, falling 21%, followed by Hashflow (HFT), which dropped 14%. Across Protocol (ACX) slid 9%, while Viction (VIC) and Vulcan Forged (PYR) lost 6% and 3%, respectively. Vanar (VANRY) bucked the broader trend, rising 1.8% despite being on the delisting list.
What Happens Next?#
Spot trading for the six tokens will end on August 17, after which users will no longer be able to trade the affected assets on Binance. Investors holding these cryptocurrencies are encouraged to review Binance's timeline for deposits, withdrawals, and any additional support changes before the deadline.
